Shoreline Cleanup 2009, Saturday April 4th!

Each Year hundreds of volunteers from around Table Rock Lake and  visitors to the region converge on the shoreline for the annual trash pick-up on the weekend of the first Saturday in April.

This year the Table Rock Lake Marina Association is proud to be the major funding sponsor of the cleanup! On the last Saturday in September and smaller clean-up event is also held where only trash-bag sized debris is picked up. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Table Rock Lake supplies trash bags, dumpsters, tire and appliance removal and personnel.

Volunteers organize teams including girl and boy scouts, Missouri and Arkansas stream teams, homeowner’s associations, civic organizations, College of the Ozarks students, retired individuals, business employees, marinas, resorts, families, and other environmentally concerned citizens. Each volunteer receives a shoreline cleanup t-shirt and a camping voucher for Table Rock Lake U.S. Army Corps campgrounds.

The only way a project of this magnitude can be done is with the help of the dedicated sponsors and volunteers!  Anyone interested in participating in the cleanup please call Gopala at 417-739-4100.   You can print out the Sign-up Sheet and Trash Tracking Form to turn in to the Table Rock Lake Water Quality office for your T-shirts upon completion of the shoreline cleanup or you may click here to sign-up you and your team online.
