Septic Tank Pumpout Program

Table Rock Lake Water Quality Inc. is partnering with the James River Basin Partnership to help educate people the Table Rock Lake area about the need to properly dispose of household wastewater and sewage.

As an added bonus, this program gives a $50 rebate to rural residents and homeowners who participate and get their septic tank pumped out. More than 1.5 million gallons of septic tank sewage has been pumped out in the Table Rock watershed so far!  People have also given great reviews on the educational aspect of the program, which will continue as long as there is interest, need and funding sources.

If you have a septic tank, live in the Table Rock Lake or James River areas and would like to learn about your system and receive $50 back on maintenance, call Table Rock Lake Water Quality office soon! (417-739-4100) or you may sign up for the program online.  To qualify for this program, you must live in the area of the James River or Table Rock watershed (see map below). You will receive a one-on-one, short-and-painless a visit from one of our staff to discuss water quality and the need for periodic septic system maintenance as well as answer questions.  A list of local pumping contractors will also be provided along with a short rebate form. Homeowners pay the initial pump-out cost up front (usually in the $75 to $150 range) and then get reimbursed $50 through Table Rock Lake Water Quality Inc. It’s important to stress that Table Rock Lake Water Quality Inc. is not a regulatory agency and does not perform septic system inspections or evaluations.

This program is a cooperative effort of the James River Basin Partnership  Table Rock Lake Water Quality, Inc., the Missouri Department of Conservation, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and Bass Pro Shops.
